Rare Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato Could Fetch Over $11 Million

Just to make it even more desirable, this particular car also happens to be the only example finished in Peony dark red. Based on the DB4 GT, the Zagato version cranked up Aston Martin’s 3.7-liter aluminum inline-six engine to 314 horsepower, up from 240 hp in the regular DB4 and 302 hp in the standard DB4 GT. This enabled the DB4 GT Zagato to accelerate from 0-62 mph in 6.1 seconds. The car’s first owner acquired the DB4 GT Zagato in the 1960s and held onto it for over two decades. During that time, they clocked just 15,000 miles. Since 1979, the DB4 GT Zagato has had four new owners, including Aston Martin director Victor Gauntlett. The current owner acquired the car back in 1985 and added more than 30,000 miles to the odometer.
